In developing our “Outdoor Bathrooms”, we carefully considered the wishes and needs of both campsite operators and their guests. Through these discussions, we concluded that investing slightly more in durability delivers far greater long-term value than choosing the cheapest possible solution. Private sanitation is about guest experience, operational efficiency and long service life — where installation, maintenance and cleaning costs also play an important role.

Heating, insulation and ventilation

At your campsite, you want guests to stay comfortably throughout the year. The walls and roof of the Roomplus sanitary modules are constructed from 8-centimetre-thick, water-resistant sandwich panels — materials also used in residential and commercial construction, with a lifespan of at least 15 to 25 years.

The thermal insulation is excellent. The modules remain pleasantly cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter thanks to the standard built-in electric radiator. We tested this during the winter of 2020/21 with our demo module. At –14°C and with a thick layer of snow on the roof, guests could still shower comfortably inside.

The mechanical ventilation system prevents moisture from lingering in the space, even in colder conditions. This helps avoid mould formation and weather-related staining.

Roomplus® floor: concrete in one piece

The floors of our toilet buildings and shower modules are cast in one piece using special anthracite-grey sanitary concrete, including the elegant linear drain beneath the shower. This means no built-up shower trays — and no dirt-collecting edges.

On the advice of experts from the hotel industry, we chose tempered safety glass partition walls. Every mark is visible on glass — which means you can immediately see when it is perfectly clean. A campsite operator advised us to mount the walls slightly elevated, allowing water to run underneath them. This enables you to clean and dry the entire floor surface in one go.

Top-quality toilet buildings and shower modules for your campsite

It is common for manufacturers of sanitary modules to choose lower-cost toilet bowls, shower fittings and accessories. We deliberately chose not to. High-quality porcelain features a denser glaze layer, making it more resistant to limescale and dirt. A bathroom cabinet with a high-quality stainless-steel basin can last significantly longer without warping, scratching or corrosion.

Our goal was to create a toilet building and shower module that would meet the standards of a five-star hotel. A private sanitary module designed to operate maintenance-light for many years — reducing life cycle costs and improving long-term returns.

Roomplus® sanitary modules are modular

A key advantage of Roomplus sanitary modules is their flexibility in placement. Each module has three blind walls of equal length, allowing them to be positioned easily against one another. Back to back, alternating in a row, or arranged in groups of four in a central “carousel” configuration between pitches.
The modules weigh between 1,200 kg (Compact) and 1,700 kg (Royal). The concrete floor includes forklift pockets, allowing them to be moved using a loader or telehandler. When connections are installed according to the construction drawings, the modules can be connected quickly and efficiently.

No, our outdoor bathrooms are also frequently used as shared sanitary facilities. It is also possible to create a modular sanitary building by connecting multiple modules. Thanks to the smart square design, the modules can be linked on three sides, allowing a complete sanitary block to be assembled quickly and efficiently. A major advantage is the flexibility this offers: the outdoor bathrooms can always be relocated and used elsewhere in the future, as they are not permanently fixed to the ground.

Yes. Within our modular concept, we offer the DuoToilet and DuoShower, as well as the DuoCombi, in which the toilet and shower are separated.

Yes. Thanks to their high-quality insulation, the modules are easy to keep frost-free. The standard electric heating system is equipped with a thermostat and a frost protection setting. However, we recommend installing the bathrooms with a vertical frost barrier in the ground to prevent frost from penetrating beneath the floor. This can easily be achieved by placing a strip of specialised insulation vertically below floor level during installation. If the bathroom includes an external washing area, we advise taking it out of use during periods of frost.

The modules are delivered to your location by our logistics partner. We take care of unloading on site. You are responsible for positioning the modules at the desired location on your premises.

Yes and no. For shared sanitary solutions, we offer dedicated Duo modules, please refer to the different models for more information. For private sanitary use, we have deliberately chosen not to produce fixed Duo modules. However, you can easily position two modules side by side yourself if desired. In addition, you can determine the layout and choose on which side the entrance door is placed. This layout can also be adjusted again in the future.

Our outdoor bathrooms are equipped with forklift pockets. This allows you to easily lift and move the sanitary module using a forklift, loader, shovel or telehandler.

By default, our sanitary modules are fully electric and equipped with an electric boiler for hot water, LED lighting, both mechanical and natural ventilation, and heating. To operate the bathroom, you will need a water supply, an electricity connection (230V – 10A), and a connection to the sewer system.

There are several ways to recoup your investment in a sanitary module, depending on your specific situation and business model. Thanks to the carefully selected materials, a floating vanity and toilet, and a shower wall combined with a floor-recessed shower tray, this outdoor bathroom is exceptionally easy to keep clean.

This gives you full flexibility in the layout when placing the modules. That flexibility also remains in the future, as the modules can be relocated whenever needed.

Because the sanitary modules are movable and not permanently fixed to the ground, your investment retains its value. If your plans change after a few years, the bathrooms can easily be relocated and used elsewhere.
